Power Up In A Skills-Enhancement Group

One of the very best ways to Leverage the Power of the Group is to share expertise in a Skills-Enhancement Group (SEG), so Yellow-Tie supports all members who want to join forces and focus on improving a single skill.

Whether you want to grow as a speaker, writer, coach, leader, salesperson, or something else, Yellow-Tie will help you:

• Create your group and articulate its goals
• Attract members who also want to improve that particular skill
• Find venues where you can meet
• Recruit experts to facilitate your sessions or share their wisdom
• Manage registration for members and guests, including negotiating with vendors and handling the money if fees are required

As is the case with all Yellow-Tie groups, our mission is to help our members improve their skills to the point where they no longer need the SEGs. That means some SEGs will come and go; whereas, others will be taken over by new members who are just starting the learning journey.

In keeping with our entrepreneurial focus, we don’t tell directors what types of groups they should create or how they should run them. Instead, we help them figure out where their passions lie and build groups to fuel those passions.
