Executives Resource

We hope this question-and-answer session with Patty Cook, director of Executives Resource, will help you decide whether this Yellow-Tie Business-Building Alliance is a fit for you.

If you want to visit a future Executives Resource meeting to determine whether the group fits you and you fit the group, contact Patty Cook, using any of the means specified below, and ask to be invited.

---

Q: With what chapter of Yellow-Tie is your group affiliated?

A: We're part of the St. Louis chapter.

---

Q: We would like to hear your story -- why did you start this group?

A: My passion is helping business owners, executives and their teams create sustainable success without sacrificing their health and happiness along the way. One way I serve people is to collect and share resources, so building alliances with professionals I know, like and trust just made sense.

Our goal is primarily to serve as a mastermind group that generates ideas and solutions for fellow members. We know that getting to know each other at this deepest of levels, and providing real value to one another through our experience, wisdom and inspiration, will naturally generate top-quality introductions and referrals.

---

Q: Within the choices of business to business (B2B), business to consumer (B2C) or both, how would you best classify the prospects to whom your members sell?

A: We sell business to business (B2B).

---

Q: How else would you describe the prospects to whom your members sell, and/or the people you want in your group?

A: We want you in our network if you:

  • Are passionate about helping owners and executives of small to midsized businesses* achieve success and want to create more opportunities to do it;
  • Are a collaborative, enthusiastic and creative professional who is willing to give as well as receive;
  • Value the exponential power created when dedicated people pool their creative energy to reach a common goal;
  • Complement the services offered by our members without competing with them;
  • Want to be part of a mastermind group that helps each member strengthen the very foundation of his or her business while providing value in every way possible.

*We define a small to midsized business as having 5 to 300 employees.

---

Q: When, where and how often does your group meet?

A: We meet for lunch once a month on the 2nd Thursday of the month, in the Westport area.

You buy your own lunch and share in the expenses of any collaborative efforts in which you take part.

---

Q: Who are your current members?
