Do you want to write a blog, article or even a book, but can't seem to find the time? Do you schedule the time, and then other things get in the way -- over and over again?

Come join the Yellow-Tie Writers SEG's Shut Up and Write event, where like-minded folks come together and actually write! Sponsored by the members of the Yellow-Tie Writers Skills-Enhancement Group (SEG), who decided they want more than learning about and talking about writing -- they want to actually DO it!

They just know there are others like them who have great intentions and not-so-great results, so they are extending an invitation to Yellow-Tie members and guests who want to jump-start their writing efforts. Magic happens when people come together for a common purpose -- the energy of one enhances the energy of all -- so we hope you'll be a part of this event.

How it works:

• Buy your seat (left).
• Bring your laptop -- or pen and paper if you prefer -- any resources you need, your creativity and your desire.
• We'll have morning coffee, juice and some light snacks.
• Bring your own food and beverages for lunch so you can stay in the flow, and disruptions are kept to a minimum. Or take a break with friends -- there are restaurants in the area if needed.
• Plan to stay for the whole day if you possibly can. It is so-o-o easy to quit when you hit a roadblock. Staying with it can provide the space and time for a breakthrough to happen!
• Dress comfortably, so you can relax and get creative.

This is NOT:

• A chance to catch up on phone calls or email
• A place to have your writing critiqued.
• A networking event. (Except for the clicking of computer keys and the rustling of paper, the room will be quiet to enhance creative flow.)
