Lift Up

St. Louis is filled with successful companies who have survived the show-up, throw-up and grow-up phases of business development and are ready to extend a hand to Lift Up the entrepreneurs who are just starting out.

We hold our monthly Handshakes events so you have the opportunity to help, without having to do all the work by yourself:

Our hosts:

• Choose between a morning or evening event
• Provide the venue
• Pay for the food and drink (coffee and pastries in the morning or drinks and appetizers in the evening)
• Provide a prize of some sort (for a drawing)
• If they so choose, provide a take-away or goodie bag for every person who attends
• Get five minutes to address the crowd, thank them for coming, etc.
• Send a “Thank You” message, card, etc. after the event

Yellow-Tie will:

• Coach you through the process
• Invite its list of 4,000+ local entrepreneurs (sent at least four times)
• Manage online registration
• Print name tags for everyone
• Set up and manage the name-tag table at the event
• Send you an Excel spreadsheet of contact information for everyone who registered and attended
